1/1 Coaching

Nonprofit work doesn’t have to equal burnout. Release stress and anxiety with coaching tailored to your needs and goals

Hello, lovely changemaker!

Thank you for your dedication toward increasing equity, justice, and belonging our world. You are my kind of person, and our world needs more people like you in it.

And if you haven’t been feeling like your normal self lately, I got you.

I know first-hand how hard it feels to experience burnout at a nonprofit job that used to fire you up, and I’d love to help you build your capacity to manage stress and navigate the strong emotions that arise from being an empathetic nonprofiteer.

If you’re worried you’re on the road to burnout (or deep in it) and you:

  • Are frustrated with regularly feeling overwhelmed, distracted, and exhausted.

  • Struggle with finding the time, energy, or motivation to take care of yourself.

  • Feel guilty when you prioritize caring for yourself instead of others.

  • Are being hard on yourself because you’re going through the motions at a job you used to love.

  • Feel too stressed and distracted to be present with family or enjoy the creative hobbies you used to get excited about.

  • Have tried so many things – like meditation apps, getting more sleep, doing yoga, and taking more PTO, and your brilliant brain still can’t figure out how to release the stress tension…

Coaching Testimonials

  • "I wanted to coach with Megan because I was interested in learning how I could use mindfulness as a tool to alleviate stress at my nonprofit.

Megan’s guidance helped me develop a stronger habit of starting my day with mindfulness and meditation. I’m more able to recognize when I can use mindfulness and how it can help me pause before making decisions.

I’ve learned how to use empathy to inform my leadership style and build my confidence to take on new challenges.

I also feel more confident setting work/life boundaries and responding to workplace energy that doesn’t serve me."

  • ”When I first started working with Megan, I was feeling stuck—experiencing a difficult relationship with family and struggling with overeating, having shame around food, and feeling bad about myself.

Anytime we work together, I gain better tools and feel less anxious. Megan's heart-centered, genuine style and intuition allows us to go deeper into the heart of the matter.

After only a few months, I started taking better care of myself. Now I feel more connected and confident in my body. I have a healthier relationship with food, and I've been enjoying working out daily. I can’t wait to start the songwriting class that I just signed up for.”

  • "I have benefitted from coaching in the past, but this was the first time I had worked with Megan and experienced coaching grounded in mindfulness.

I came into our session feeling burned out and like there was no room around the edges.

Megan's warmth and presence were immediately clear despite the session being virtual.

Through her guidance, I was able to emerge with a next step that felt doable and left me feeling hopeful about the potential of taking that one step.

Let's put this this way: I feel like I'm moving from Roy Kent to Ted Lasso today, thanks in part to Megan's support. "
